A Poem by Bobbie Coelho

You can lie down and moan out loud
Or you can stand up and be proud
You can hide away from the sun
Or you can face everyone

You can cry and stamp your feet
And be bitter with people you meet
Or you can chase those shadows away
Emerging into a bright, new day.

Bobbi,
thank you for this poem, you have no idea how much I needed to read these very wise words, and so well written. Yes every minute of the day we can choose, the pity party or the light. Even when we choose the dark, we can always choose again. Wonderfully inspiring!

These words are so you. I've know very few people with the courage you have in spite of what life's thrown at you. Yet, you keep busy, smile more than more, and cope.. bravely. Plus, you write words to inspire and gently help. Wonderful!. Forgive me, near missed this; we've 'chatted' since November! xx
