Impact Freedom

Impact Freedom

A Poem by Footprints al carbon
"

A life without impact remains trapped inside. The only place where a fundamentalist fantasy can take root is in the greatest wounds of the heart. There is a better way to make an impact.

"
A language of action cries as the edict goes out
to stop wishing for justice instead make it be known;

What have we witnessed of the debts and the borders
which are too steep to climb out of and too far for hope to cross;

Reach out in an impassioned plea for the restless land of peace,
the temple of reunions is there where all suffering has meaning;

Hear the call to join the great spree charging forward in self disdain,
voices well up to give purpose as the wrecking ball of will swings low;

Collect all that you have had then bid farewell and leave it here,
like fallen fruit left to decay it is now too ripe a cost for the tree to bear;

A giver waits in the shadows whispering of much still to see
of a land of salvation is just beyond the grand mystery within.

When sold on a promise say true whence it comes,
for a seed finding soil is also destroyed when it sprouts.

I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
