Growing in Infinite Eternity

Growing in Infinite Eternity

A Poem by Footprints al carbon

The plants cry in agony,
wishing for the end to come,
their true salvation.
Are they alone?
Even if they were discovered,
would they just be cataloged,
dissected and tested,
by any other form of life out there?
The plants harvest peace,
receiving only what is is given,
 that unlimited light,
with the limit of time.
Even if time did not exist,
would it change the outcome of definite,
making the darkness obsolete,
creating what could not be destroyed?
Isn't that the goal that we all seek,
to propagate this experience,
this experience of now,
right now growing,
through all infinite eternity?

About
I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
