R for ContentA Poem by Footprints al carbonCampfire fairy talesLife is absolutely meaningless; What happens in the future sucks; War, famine, and death. Death to every living person, everybody dies, just not all at once. Soon, maybe a lot of people will die, and soon, maybe families will sit by a fire warming their bones and cooking their food after the nuclear holocaust: the survivors, those who fear death more than the horror of living in a destroyed world, or maybe they see something that convinces them that life is good, maybe they aren't in the know, no education in history, biology or astronomy; they think of geology as evidence of God because of their rock collection - these eternal treasures, much like their souls; in order to protect their neanderthal consciousness from fire, that dreaded eternal fire, they first must survive it. Eat, drink and be merry. Carpe diem!
