Disrupted Time

Disrupted Time

A Poem by Footprints al carbon
"

Don't pay attention to what happens next.

"
The stage door locked as the curtain rose,
     and the spotlight struck on the deck,
     now looking up at the nameless hoard
     see the falling darkness reflect;

Fear no more any man or girl,
     who conspires to steal the right,
     to lay claim on this dramatic act
     which flows from my veins tonight;

Here and now is the show of spells,
     that will lift you out of your chair,
     and show you sights that once befell
     a soul who breathed this same air;

Something deep will stir at once,
     the monster that lives in your skin,
     emotional swell as you want to shout
     a call for judgement to begin;

Don't forget the answers you sought,
     seeking from whence you came,
     will the sleeper abandon their bed
     and the talker abandon their blame?

About
I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
