Simple things

I really have no idea what i'm doing, this might become a type of random thing during dating or something but no promises c: enjoy and i would love to have some ideas c:

I blushed and bit my lip, inspecting my shoes. He took a step forward which closed the distance between his chin and my head.
His breath waved over my hair as his hand reached out for mine. My heart pounded against my ribs as I took a shaky breath in. His fingertips touched the back of my hand and I shivered. I turned my hand around so that his fingertips were settled on my palm.
I looked at our hands and curled my fingers so that our fingertips were gently pressed against each other.
I heard him swallow and my eyes levelled with his chest.
He intertwined his hand with mine and my lips parted slightly, shivers running down my spine.
I closed my fingers around his soft hand and leaned my cheek against his chest, hearing his steady heartbeat.
'I love you,' he breathed, softly.
My heart leaped as my breath caught.
'I love you too.'

Hi - I like what you have written but for me the absence of context makes it hard as a reader to know how unexpected / dangerous / romantic the moment is which is a shame.
