Rhapsody on Humanity.

I slowly falter and mumble simple words 

I sit around thinking while my feelings are blurred,

Visions cloud my vision and I sit and wonder what does it mean?

We smile upon those we hate, then lie behind the backs of those we love.

I close my eyes and try to make out the pictures in the sand

 I smile upon my sister who will let me hold her hand

 I wonder now if it's true what we've been told

The smudged lines in this songbook speak well

 there's a sad, sad rhapsody on my Humanity.

So often I hide my feeling because I don't want to admit their there.

I'm an alien only basking in your rays,

This feeling so strange 

Too often we want to hide who we are

Am I really here or am I a mirage?

What gave me the right to live?

All I've done is take never give..

 I hate the times I should have but did not,

The opportunities, chances given to me,

 the only ones I got.

They say love is easy, and life goes on but as far as I can see
