crossing distance

crossing distance

A Poem by blueseeker

Crossing upon an opening

achieving the flux

     Feelings surrender to the unfamiliar.

Curiosity settling within each step

Farther. through quest.

    Emerging through distance.

In the far distance another view

is born.

….cross. and

    journey with no destination.

To travel is better than to arrive. As you hint, perhaps we are all on a journey with no destination.

You take me to many places with this poem. I understand that you want to reader to have a feeling of traveling and leaving what they know for a new world. I think some more specifics would be nice. What does the flux feel like? What does the world you are entering look like? How does the world you know change? Those are all questions you could use to help build this transition from the world you know to the one you are entering.

I like where you are going. You are certainly exploring and branching out. Keep dreaming big!

I really like this one. Like I noted on your previous poem, you have a simple and true voice that gets straight to the point. The only suggestion I have: maybe your getting to the point too quickly, without elaborating or expressing yourself more than you can. I think adding some additional information & sentences could make this poem go from great to greater :)

Excellent poem. Reading this brings to mind how our feelings are always changing. We experience new emotions as we grow and have to deal with new life situations, some positive and some not so positive. As we live we are always experiencing emotions.

Thanks for the review you did for me.

"Feelings surrender to the unfamiliar.
Curiosity settling within each step"~When feelings surrender, you feel more comfortable with change, and are able to move toward the vast space of the unfamiliar to achieve the quest.
