Conformity

The value of truth

often misheard.

The body of time

fighting for purpose.

 

Yet, both coexists

never understood.

 

Perhaps, both remain

as hollow shadows in which

we are to conform.   

 

for an audience of one?

Yes, people often all try to be the same by style and when someone is different they are often attack and the effort is put forth to force them to conform or be outcasted. Who is the audience we really conform for? Ourselves. Excellent poem.

Brilliant! As Time moves on and life changes, our values change.There seems to be a need to conform with the times, and for that, we need purpose. We strive and fight for it... yet, is it hollow?... for Time continues to change.
