WORDS

WORDS

A Poem by bobby

Letters assemble a word

The word takes form

Lights the minds it explores

Sequential words display

In reference the meaning

Spilled in conflated outbursts

Watercolor, just the same

We paint with our words

Imagination is our canvas

With a phrase our hearts beat

Our flesh wakes

And our brows fold

Fingers tighten squeezing lead

We bleed some kind of truth

If only from the mirror we see

We chase our thoughts

Setting them into stillness

Yet their life is endless

Applied to pages of irony
