A Lioness and her cubs

A Lioness and her cubs

A Poem by bohat barish

My hips are spectacular

The size, the shape, the softness

Abundance is found in my curves

What did you have for your last meal

Did you order the fat free dressing

No croutons

Skip the cheese

People die without knowing a fulfilling meal

Bellies ache, extended like in the infomercials

But what am I to do

Send them my fries

I wish

Instead I choose to indulge

I want to say bad things, tell people I hate my body and my shape

But I am raising two girls

I want them strong

I am like a lioness who guards her young

Pride is needed, love is needed

Instead of "poor me" I try to model adoration

I am amazing

I am gorgeous

I am smart

I am strong

So are my daughters
