What If?

I was talking to my boyfriend and we played the "what if" game so i just thought of the poem.

What if I wasn't who i am how

Would you love me then

Would you want to be more then my friend

What if I was someone better then the person you see before you

Would it make your love true

What if you were me and went through my crap

What if you felt like you were trapped

What if you just wanted to be loved and hailed

What if you tried to find someone and always failed

What if you felt you life was going in the wrong direction

What if all they wanted was sex and affection

What if you tried so hard to hide the pain you do to yourself

What if you thought a boy was good for your health

What if all these things were telling you something about someone

Who was fighting a battle that can never be won

But what if you people couldnt see

What if you people didnt know i was me?
