Forever Friend

I wrote this for a friend that I care deeply about.

      Forever friend

 

Its hard to come by friends who really matter,

The kind that bring you happiness, joy and laughter.

I guess you could say I’m lucky that way,

For I found a friend I can talk to for ten hours a day.

 

We met online playing a game,

I know it probably sounds kind of lame.

But during this game play a friendship arose,

Making me happy from my head to my toes.

 

He makes me laugh, cry, frustrated, happy and much more,

But through it all he’s always be worth fighting for.

He’s my personal drug,

Whom I can’t wait to hug.

 

In a few weeks I’ll meet him for the first time,

If I never let him go back home, is it a crime?

My only wish is that’s he’s my forever friend

Right till the bitter end.

WOW!! This poem struck home and again teared me up. I believe I know who that friend is. What a lovely poem of honest friendship. You have penned it well and the emotion of this relationship shows. You pulled at my heart string.
