Little MonsterA Poem by Brenda WoodsFor the types of lovers that may only meet when concealed by shadows.
you feed on fear
crimson stained on fingers warm against your skin you'll be the bonnie to his clyde a perfect partner in crime together you'll bathe coat yourself in sweetness; blood of the innocent you feed on affection the most dangerous lovers he's your forbidden fruit your addiction a monster, depraved as you careful, don't love him; never let yourself fall you are two shadows shrouded by nightfall greedy hunters loved, but craving more don't be foolish, little monster; for if you despise yourself what makes you think you could survive him? © 2015 Brenda WoodsFeatured Review
