breaking the drought

breaking the drought

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

This bad day has lasted a while
so much so that my face refuses to smile
been walking this road for over a mile
i wish this life was just a trial.

This bad mood has been developing
taking all I am as it is enveloping
waiting for a brighter day
to meet me at the dawn
but my sky is filled with dark clouds
and rainstorms which flood
breaking the drought.
