serenity

A Poem by Latifa
"

this poem is for any one who is asking for ease and serenity as of my self

"
I beseech serenity to seize my soul
For it i shall make my heart the most noble abode
I sought to grasp the sunken lull
For it to ease the abundant load
I shall embellish my heart with orchid flowers
For it i shall envelope my heart with golden hedges
I crave for the lucid powers
For it i roll the carpet of silver edges
I'm awakening my soul from the lurking sedation
For it i pledge to fight the dour beast
I shall scat through the tunnel of salvation
For it i wait for the beaming rays at the east

Many kinds of salvation. I like the journey you took me in your words. I like the above lines. A perfect ending to the excellent poetry.

very nicely done...well structured and worded...and a pleasant requesting for the always much needed serenity on top of it all

to beseech serenity is poetic, to use rhyme is fine. The very nature of the write leads to kinetically using words and the grammar they form. I enjoyed. Tom
