words of a poet

words of a poet

A Poem by Latifa
"

with this poem i wanted to capture the poet feelings toward the world and his own words

"
I am the poet , I am the writer
I play the universal symphony to make things brighter
I listen to the rhythmic melodies , i behold the world with pondering eyes
i plunge my being into the hollow , i flee my spirit to the skies
the universe's whispers into my ears
the strikes of the thunder, the man tears
the hissing of the grass , the ripples of the water
the signals of the stars , the creeps of the shadow
the beaming of the sun , the veil of the night
i listen
i write
my words are my riddance
my words are my fury
my words are my joy
my words are my aching
my words are ME
those words are to be recited at the most glorious moment , are to be recited at every moment
those words are to be engraved , are to be dug into the mighty stones of wisdom , the mighty stones of virtue
they shall be forever recited
the shall be forever remembered

A amazing poem. Writing is what we are. A writer love the word and take us to good places.
"i listen
i write
my words are my riddance
my words are my fury
my words are my joy
my words are my aching
my words are ME"
The above lines are outstanding. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

All lines up to the last four are, indeed, a poet's gift; your gift. As for the last four lines, they seem not of the present but rather of an indulgent command or a wish or a journey for tomorrow. If that rings true then perhaps (with respect) it would be appropriate to add, as you have said on various occasions, "inshallah." Thank you for sharing, Latifa.

I am very sympathetic to the choice of subject matter here...words and the writers the smith them are an enormous thing in the world of communicating and artistry since the earliest thymes

some comma typos...but good writ

I really enjoy reading your words. I often like to put myself behind someone else's eyes, also. Great work!
