Mending

Mending

A Poem by Latifa
"

waking up and waving the flag of hope

"
I tuck my dreams under my sleeves
I shrug off the smirks of the enemies
I pull the moments of revelation
I tie my self to the rope of destination
with flair of living not just existing
I make truce with destiny
I hand my trust and walk free
I gaze up to the homeless stars
effulgent as they are
they brighten the path
 and mend my faith

"I make truce with destiny

I enjoyed the complete poem. Without hope and faith we have nothing. I like the ending to the excellent poetry.

Sublime imagery here...trust is not given easily...re-connection and faith to go on are hard...combined and wanted, the world can move :) x

You've been doing a lot of ::that:: lately it seems. It's nice to read you're still in-motion.
