RESURRECTED ONCE AGAIN

RESURRECTED ONCE AGAIN

A Poem by Latifa

the backs of the humble spirits are arching
and smokes of the vexatious flares are winding
to stifle and strangle the nectar soliloquy
hindering the swollen soul to mend
oh how could it mend!
while it's dining the sour and the bland
find me the seraphic musk
I want to soak my pallid skin in it
 to resurrect my waning  inner
and revive my twinging body from the dead

thank you John:)..........
there is always redemption no matter how bad we think things have gotten, no matter how dead emotionally or spiritually we feel.

thank you for the review Jacob:)...........
Many forms of resurrection of course. Mental, physical and spiritual. Your last sentence says twinging body and another one says the swollen soul. Excellent...:)................

thank you for the review wordman:).........
The language and the structure of which you put this verse...
comes out much in the lines...
and yet you weave the rhyme into this work...
made for lasting touch with the way this ends...
