REBIRTH

REBIRTH

A Poem by Latifa

scourging atrophy have pervaded my soul
and life is eroding
I imbibe the source
 of the crystalline waters
to savor the truth
I fondle with clay
to find my beginnings
Resuscitated by sweet breaths of clemency
I cripple my way back to rebirth
but I must choose wisely
for the pearl of the renascence
is in disguise
and the wobbling bridges wont hold much longer

Amazing, amazing, write. Couldn't have come across a more beautiful piece than this to satisfy my urge of knowing and feeling about rebirth. :D

thank you for reviewing my poetry, looking forward to read more of yours as well
In order to resurrect yourself you must be sure whether it is happening the right way or is it new part of the same vicious cycle.

thank you for the review
i love the word "atrophy"...nice to see it used in a poem.
yes, "the wobbling bridges won't hold much longer"

and we are all going to fall into the crystalline waters...and the truth is not going to feel good...

the clemency is that we still have a chance to recover life..stop the erosion...it is up to each one of us to fix that bridge...

packs a wallop in a short space.
