the neglected  kernel

the neglected kernel

A Poem by Latifa
"

the self apocalypse is hard, defying but worth it

"

We accuse the epiphany truth of abstraction,
yet we chase knowledge:
 the unveiled truth that was once abstract.
Loathing to roam in the lightless corridors of self:
we descend to survival mode.

Foolishly, we cut the celestial placenta
with the knives of hubris egos
to  declare the Sovereign of the universe,
yet immortality is out of reach.

Dauntless, we sail through the tangible space that surrounds us, yet we're still on the harbor of the inner noesis.

Hypocritically,
we berate ignorance to glorify the knowing
and callously neglect the insisting truth.

In moments of solitude,
revelation comes manifesting;
wearing the uniform of questions:

why we're here?
what's the purpose of life?

Well, forsake the survival mode;
venture in an introverted self tasting
 and wander into your neglected kernel to glimpse the truth.

thank you for the reivew
This is a good poem. It does however, I feel, demand too much of the reader, it is hard to work through. Is an epiphany abstract ? I`m not too sure . And I am often confused about what you are saying. So my reading leaves me unsure of the message, but others ( just my POV) might do better !
