that thought

that thought

A Poem by Latifa
"

a little romantic twist, not usual of me lol.

"
I cannot fathom the fainting of the ticking clock.
hours have clad in a haunting ghostly clothes.
a parade of continuous thought.
a thought from a stranger's land,
that found her welcome in those ghostly clothes.
that merged with my fainting clock.
it had became the ticking of my clock.
quivering my shores with ecstatic froth.
ebbing,
 hushing those passive oaths.
the mighty heart can start to pump.
pump you bloody heart.
PUMP.
the seconds have strapped themselves to that thought,
declaring to tick only with that thought.
the thought of you.
they move with you,
around you,
and coming back to you.
you are that thought.

Yes, if we are enjoying life, time flies and if we are waiting for something, the seconds drag on. Einstein knew that. :) There are certain memories we choose to keep on the forefront of our minds and there they will always stay. Good write. Lydi**

A interesting poem dear Poet.
"the thought of you.
they move with you,
around you,
and coming back to you.
you are that thought."
Some memories will catch us. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Some people have such an effect on us that we can't (or don't wish to - same thing??) get them out of our minds. Even time seems to 'give way' to the thought of them - and we see to freeze too.
This is enigmatic Latifa - it is certainly a good portrayal of time and how it is a perception more than a reality.
