I Miss..

I just can’t get you out of my head 

All of the memories of you that I can’t shed

I lay in bed every night thinking of you 

And I wonder if you are doing the same thing too

I miss how you used to make me feel alive

 

I miss the smile on your face

And I realize no one can take your place

I miss the way your eyes would look into mine 

And how they would shine 

I miss how you used to call me yours 

I dream of what we used to be 

How much love you had for me

I wake up wondering why things went wrong 

And I don't know how to stay strong

I miss how you used to make me feel at peace

I hope one day we’ll be together again 

As happy as we were then 

When I was the one thing you loved most 

The one thing you wanted close

I miss how much you loved me then
