bleeding between the lines

bleeding between the lines

A Poem by Bri-lynn

Starting a new chapter in my life doesn't erase the one's I have already wrote.
It doesn't dismiss the headaches or the heartbreaks or the insufferable amounts of pain I've so absent-mindedly shuffled through.
It doesn't break the thought of me and you....
Paper cut after paper cut, I still ruffle through the pages of your smile,
of your laugh,
of the bond that we once had.
No matter how much I bleed between the lines,
or how much the tears sting my cuts-
I look back and remember-
there was no greater love, than us.

I must say you are amazingly skilled in putting your emotions as words and through your composition, I could sense your feelings :)
