Math class haiku

Math class haiku

A Poem by BristolMaud
"

Yet again, I am more fallible than I had intended to be.

"
Missing math classes
because when I do attend,
numbers can't keep up.

Teachers shut me down,
"We will not reach that level!"
I grow roots and sleep.

But, like the tortoise,
math class sneaks past me, and I
am caught off my guard.

When I face the test,
my muscles are disused, cramped,
the "boring" beats me.

Back at the start line,
victim of vicious cycles,
my arch-nemesis.
