Levi's Sonnet

Levi's Sonnet

A Poem by Freedom
"

Shakespearean sonnet written in a short amount of time for my current boyfriend, Levi. Obviously...I love him.

"

To whom do I owe my gratitude,
What being has been thrust unto my heart?
As rare as celestial rock showers’ plenitude,
I explore your entirety, venerate your art.
Kissing your head, your lip, your brow,
And softly holding to gravity’s pull.
Hands as warm as the sun will allow,
The taste of your space and the fit of your hold.
Silently I wait with tender greed,
Swell into the fire ablaze in your breast,
Stretched and arched; my follow, your lead,
Slip into oblivion, encounter each crest.
To touch you now is to consent,
And every moment well worth spent.

This is sincerely a gorgeous piece. I feel it and I know it. I wouldn't change a thing. Beautiful and underrated. This is better than everything that I've read on this site, honestly. It's classic poetry with modernist style. Like. . . Vintage poetry haha. Your flow is flawless. Love this.
