You

You

A Poem by Khaotic Katastrophe

Tears fill my eyes

As I think about these seemingly useless lullabies

They play through my head

Every night of my life

I cry forever, it seems

But no one ever hears me

Scared of what’s to come

Mysteries to me

My lullabies so gentle and inviting

To let go would bring great peace.

But then I would lose everything I’ve been fighting for.

Weighing my options

I stay silent and still

Taking in all my sense allow

The music never stops playing

For I never stop thinking.

I keep fighting.

But for what?

You .
