Stolen

Stolen

A Poem by Khaotic Katastrophe

What’s wrong with dark?

It is peaceful without light.

Blocking out the sight of this world.

What lingers in it scares me

Never knowing what’s there

Hiding in a fortress of sinister mysteries.

Evil beyond knowledge just waiting for me

Step over the invisible line and I’m gone

Just like that

Would I be missed or go unnoticed?

I hope we never have to find out.

Those who have been stolen by the dark.

Many broken hearts, played by several games.

Never knowing who to trust or what to believe.

Terrified to believe something good could happen.

Isolated into your own little world.

Forever to be stolen by the dark.

There are many who welcome the unknown. This can also be a challenge. This is about putting your trust and faith in what you don't really know. You take chances. Sometimes you hit. Sometimes you miss. Very thought provoking! Good job!

nice piece here. the dark can be frightening at times, but good things are out there in the light and in the dark. they happen all the time. I wait for good things everyday and usually something good does happen. like a lot of new friends I have met here. There were previously in my dark, and now they are in my light. hooray.
