A quick and dirty poem about a life ended too soon. By someone you would normally trust.

"

The gentle breeze. The mountains hiding away the orange sunset in the horizonIt almost seems like time stops. 

It almost seems like its all too perfect. Until the air burned. 

There were no flames but the sharp scent that flared the nostrils.I felt the grass on my face. A slight sting in the back of my head. 

My head became hotter as something crawled down my face. 

 The grass was soaked crimson. My ears were still ringing. 

I couldn't scream. I couldn't move. Everything felt numb. 

 He leaned down and cried. An exhale and a whimper but not my own. 

He sobbed that he was sorry. He sobbed that he didn't want to.He told me that he loved me.

But...
