Love is patient
Love is kind
Love will make you lose your mind
Love is a friend that turns you blind
Love will make you forget about time
Love turns your water into wine

Love won’t envy
Love won’t boast
Love will make you do the most
Love will warm you ‘til you roast
Love will leave you like a ghost

Love is not proud
Love is not rude
Love will put you in a mood
Love will feed your soul like food
Love will leave you alone to brood

Love is not self-seeking...
Love will have you quit thinking
Love may have you crying and shrieking Love can make you feel like such a weakling

Love is not easily enraged...
Love will have you disengaged
Love will get you caught up in a phase
Love will have you lost in a maze

Love keeps no record of our wrongs...
Love will make you forget to whom you belong
Love is a siren and a song
Love will make you weak, then strong

Love does not delight in evil...
Love will warp your view of people
Love can be dark, but never deceitful
Love will pierce your soul like a needle

Love rejoices in truth...
Love will give you a radiance and youth Love may turn you into a paranoid sleuth Love is sweet and clear like vermouth

Love always protects
And love always trusts
Place your heart in the hand of another And yet another one bites the dust

Love always hopes,
Love always perseveres...
Love may have you drowning up to your ears
Love will make you conquer all of your fears
Love is meant to keep you in good cheer

Love never fails...
Except for when it is disguised and leads you off your trails
Love is sometimes lonesome, but always prevails
You won’t see the full picture until it unveils
