Bus 801

Bus 801

A Poem by btang

The bus to nowhere
Only takes an hour
Stop, stop, stop upon
Stop.
Listen to the shutter and buzz
Whirring and prolonged bum,
Breathe bus,
Don't forget to breathe.
You'll find your way
You always do,
Every 20 to 30 minutes
You realize that a stop and go
Is progress
On journeys and adventures
To what you chose to be your end.
The red light tests your patience,
I know,
But aren't those yellow ones
Exhilarating.
Your choice can be to take a moment
Embracing new surroundings
Or you can go -
Go, go, go.
It'll be exhausting
You're almost there
Look how far you've gone.
Thanks little bus, thank you
For your time.

I love how human this bus seems. I've been touched by this write.
