A Rose Like You

A poem i wrote to my wife one night while i was at work.

A rose like you,
Is a rose who is true,
Dark red or bright yellow,
Can change anyone mellow.

A rose like you,
Is never to be blue,
Always happy, always new,
I wish i had a rose like you.

Here's a surprise for you,
Turns out im true too,
My love for you will always bloom,
I became a rose like you.

This is really lovely,I heard or read this statement some where "every day you fall in love' that is the person you share your love with and the second line reminds me of that.. God bless.

well, thank you. Yes, she did love it. I used to write poems all the time in high school. At the time, people looked down upon me because to them it was lame, and those same people today are asking me to write something for them to give to their significant other.
