~rainbow tribe

~rainbow tribe

A Poem by Katherine Wyatt

~they are not overly concerned with rooftops, and most of them own tents....
yet sleep where they please....
they are always smiling and have the largest eyes......
no particular color;brown eyes, blue ones, green, there are no colors of importance to the tribe....

they hold banquets under canopies of green trees and starlight...
fringe leather and bead work, ....
     and always carry stones....
        amethyst... silica..... hematite.......
mining and traveling ...
        n bodies and without them...
awake and yet dreaming a new dream.....
  rainbow children and freedom seekers....
dreadlocks and PhDs....

      you and me
         ... maybe.....

they are the future ....
               few teachers needed... t
                 hey were born knowing....
the confusion and blood letting of the indigo days are passed
     these young ones...'

 they KNOW
       .... they are God.....

About
I am the song the trees whisper in the wind. I am the strength of the mighty mountains. I am the song of the birds in the morn. I am always being reborn. I am a traveler in and out of space and time... more..
