divine feminine

divine feminine

A Poem by Nearly Blonded
"

possibly will be continued? first lyrics i’ve written in a hot second

"
none of my girls have a man to rely on
dirty auras, fingernails, no vacation to Saigon
speckled faces, brown shoelaces, and a gram to get live on
snakes and sinners, sacred dinner, tiny pinch like a hive hon

miming words to Blonde at twelve
midnight, letters on the shelves
overdue checks, trojan blue pack, into one she only delves

on occasion, cleanse the body
mingle above hotel lobbies
says superficial never hurt no one

she loves too hard, loves too fast
loves longer than he can last
loves a girl, won’t love back
predestined things just can’t be hacked

I liked how direct this is, your intentions are clear. The last verse seems hopeless, as in the subject seems to be throwing her hands up and saying nothing can be done about how she is. It's all a journey, you never know what is around the corner :) With best wishes, Laura.
