Back to the Sea

Back to the Sea

A Poem by Cagan
"

A naive creature is thrust into a modern world within which he does not belong

"
I know not this place
I'm stranded in
with these buildings
that stretch to the sky.

I know not this place
where I now stand
this place where
nobody flies.

I know not this place
so crowded and tall
with no nature
to be seen.

I know not this place
this city of steel
I must get back
to the sea.
