Jazz poem...channeling Miles Davis

 asphalt aviation birds across the bleach rhombus

where miles of cylinders piano a whole electronic novella.

fish turns the stereo on its face

and blastoff fuzz blades the razor skeleton.

straight chicory rhythm

-up-

then parachute suitcase down

where the orange in orange hammer orchestrates

a rolling solo, hemming

the greased wood, slick ivory

with exhausted breath and the note

which protracts

along a tapped

out

emporium
