Soft, Calm, Light

Soft, Calm, Light

A Poem by Caitlin

Soft, calm, light.

Just before the night.

Pink and blue sky,

Pleasant to the eye.

--
A dark shadow stands so tall,

Far and soaring above it all.

Past the purple clouds in air,

Standing with pride, without a care.

--

Below lies a city,

Mysterious, yet pretty.

Dark buildings lying low,

All just going with the flow.

--

All is silent, there’s not a sound,

As if everyone left and no one was around.

Soft, calm, light,

Just before the night.

Oh! What an amazing piece of poetry! "Below lies a city, Mysterious, yet pretty" such a lively rhythm!
If Eiffel Tower was a human being she would have been very proud of you! This is really amazing! :)

The poem and photo is beautiful. When the big cities slow down and the night begins to take over. It is the best time of the night. Like a peace and calm take over the craziness of the city. Amazing description and story in your words. A excellent poem.
