I Am

I am a weird teen who likes pets

I wonder why the sky is blue

I hear the snow hit the ground as it falls

I see the blue sky and wonder

I want to be successful in every part of my life

I am a weird teen who likes pets

 

I pretend that I control a world that is not there

I feel myself slip out of my body and into my world

I touch the soft clouds as I look up at the blue sky and wonder

I worry about growing up, and facing the many challenges the world has to offer

I cry at the thought of animal abuse

I am a weird teenager who likes pets

 

I understand that the world I create is not real

I say that I will be successful in my life

I dream of being a writer

I try to make an effort to treat others with kindness

I hope they return the favor of my kindness
