Suicide

Those who take their lives
Are among the ranks of the brave
For to leave this world behind
Not knowing what the future holds
Is an amazing feat

Their fear of the unknown is diminished
With a hope to find new light
So certain that whatever lies beyond
Must be better than this reality
That plagues their soul

this makes so much sense....so many have little understanding as to why they do it...
they don't care about those they leave behind, their lives can't be that bad, etc.
but you look at a different side here...we don't know what comes after...and maybe there is a penalty for committing suicide...it is a risk...and someone willing to take it just feels...nothing could be worse than life on this earth.
