Real world problems

Real world problems

A Poem by Chloe

What is a real world problem?

A math teacher says:
Julie wants to bake chickens. The recipe calls for 14 cups of nitro-glycerin and 2 kilos of cyanide. If she's killing twice the number of people there are cookies, how much time does it take for Morgan Freeman to get from San Diego and back?

A language arts teacher says:
When people say, "I did good.". Good is an adjective, used to describe a noun. Well is an adverb, used to describe an action.

A science teacher says:
When students aspire to go to the sun when they grow up.

A social studies teacher says:
American is not a language. American is not a language. The language is English.

A nineteen-year old says:
When I can't figure out how to mail something because I wasn't taught how in school.
