Fall Into Nothing

Fall Into Nothing

A Poem by nevershoutnever.
"

Get away, if you want.

"

You are letting me

fall into nothing.

Miss the ledge,

fall over the edge.

Is this for the best?

Without you,

my heart is better.

It has a sliver of a

single chance to heal

from your scarring.

Tumbling down,

spinning without a sound,

watching

all around

as I fall into nothing.

You aren't there to catch

me, not again.

The first time,

I was bruised and broken.

Now I'm just done.

I can't handle the burning

of the glaring sun.

Last time,

you're learning

and now you're

just hurting.

So why

do I imagine

that me falling

falling into nothing

is such a bad thing?

Let me fall.

Let me fall.

Let me go

so I can finish falling,

finish what I came here to do.

Living without you

is worse than

what I'm going through.

So let me fall.

Let me fall into nothing.
