Gnomes of the Elements

Gnomes of the Elements

A Poem by Alexander D

Ice Gnomes Fire Gnomes

Ice grows in the underground Flames burn in the deepest chasms
A place where gnomes are abundantly found Chasms full of gnomes with spasms
They try to hide it They think they're hot
But I can find it But they're really not
Especially with my frosthound They think they have a pezazm

Sky Gnomes Rock Gnomes

Wind whistles through the sky Rocks live about a mountain
Where gnomes flutter and fly so high So too do gnomes of 'Fountain'
They sneak around They're very still
But are sky-bound And hardly chill
They think themselves a talented spy But prefer to live in Downton (Abbey)

How about a limerick? I think so.
How about two? Why not.
Or three? Sure thing.
Four? Ugh, okay.
