healing the insanity

healing the insanity

A Poem by captain
"

just ramblings.

"

Trying to cope in healing the insanity

I brought upon me, someday I'll be sane...

Someday I’ll be ok that the truth behind me

                                   Will just fade away…

I’m not who you think I am

I’m just a stranger in this farfetched world

I wish you’ll be gone Misery

For I just want a peaceful life

Pretty normal in the eyes of everyone…

Hi, This piece seems to me to be pergring in away. Insanity is a word that comes up in my work from time to time. One piece that come to mind it The Cure. It's post here and you are welcome to read it. I think I know how your feeling and even more what your thinking. All my relationships wore intents and the link with the people I loved very strong. For a time and time changes very thing. The strong be come weak and the weak strong. The blend is lost and you have to go find your self again.
I didn't worry about me when I was with her, She kept me grounded and in action. Then that eneded I had to redifine my self. I was very lost for a time. But I had my music and my writing to keep me going. I don't ask the big queston any more. No anser would satisfy me. I'm just here doing the best I can. Well you got me thinking and thats a good thing, Thanks, Take care, Joe

I really identify with this having had one of the most unsettled years of my life. I have had to shed so much and I am determined not to carry it through into 2014. I like the line "someday I'll be sane" but how will you know :) and show me anyone who's "sane" as I just can't tell any more. Your final lines speak a truth that made me pause for a moment. yes it's true that others do judge, often with their eyes closed. I really liked this. justine.

Sometimes I wonder and think, perhaps humanity thrive on misery. So much effort is spent to better human lives, even if the fruits of the effort often benefit only a select few. I wonder what would happen were our misery to truly be healed. What would we do then?

This is a thought provoking piece, at least for me. In fact, it reminds me of the song, "Misplaced" by Sonata Arctica.

Here's to hoping the Misery and Insanity fade, to be replaced by something better, something that gives you renewed hope and purpose.

Be well, Captain.

I have been here, Captain. Sometimes, that dark cloud hovers so close above my head that I can't see a thing. Writing always helps the sun start to peek through. Wishing you light!

sounds like someone coping with a mental illness and is stigmatized by those around you, look at you differently. this causes you despair and misery to be ostracized like that. people can be so ignorant and insensitive. of course i am probably completely off so i apologize.

Sometimes the thoughts in our heads drive us mad , we bring the misery yet all we seek is peace of mind to be normal. Poignant write, well said.

thank you Moon. :)
A wonderful poem! I like it. It reminds me of somebody 15 years ago...Somebody who wanted to be free from the misery of life. That's me. But I also learned that this is life. We have to survive from aches of this world...from our fellowmen. That we don't only need to be good to their eyes...because people are good critics...They are too judgmental. We must live according to our choices, not theirs. Because this is our life, not theirs.

You're much welcome.
Those hungers for sanity make us insane and even insaner, how insane is life? it is pretty insane. To be sane, is even more insane. I think I just like you the way you are. However this was heartfelt and beautiful. It is only a phase... it could be next week totally different. And that's what I enjoyed out of here. All is about perception.

your a smart woman you are Miss. I admire your grace, thank you. :)
A humbling piece of simple art. In this case, and in life in general most of the time simplicity is the best thing. here you don't ask for much, but only the bare minimum... A touch of sadness, in this heartfelt poem
