weakling

weakling

A Chapter by captain

I am not blessed with good looks

I am not blessed with an intelligent brain

I am not even blessed with good height and strong body

Maybe I am just a weakling, who never stands up for his own good!

Oh hell sweetie..we are all tired. But fight we must. We cannot use poor stature as an excuse. Often times I look at myself and wonder what is the point? How easy to assume that nobody cares. But remember, the next time that stranger flashes you a random smile....or that waitress says in a friendly voice "you are welcome" after thanking her for great food and service...or a person lets you cut in line...opens the door for you...humanity it is still there, and it's in the small things we do that get taken for granted. So easy to say yes I can...talk the talk if we must...but actions will always speak louder than words my friend.

We are always more than we perceive of self. Good read and write. Keep writing and watch self unfold and become the real you. We can overcome all obstacles.

well, your writing is standing up for you now, looks and physique and intelligence are nowt, compared to the language of the heart.

Cap I was thinking today about something along the lines of your piece. About how exhausting it is to try and fight every injustice. And there are lots of them; overdraft fee's when there was no overdraft, cable co. selling you a package at a certain price then 2 months later they've raised it; the neighbor, stealing the daily paper... And this is just small stuff the big stuff can't be ignored. I guess my point is I began to wonder what it would be like to just let go of these things, not fight.... Would it be a weight lifted off our shoulders or would it just put us further behind the eight ball making things worse? And what happens to us when we get too tired to fight?

If fighting every injustice is exhausting, then letting it slide is frustrating, right? Frustrating.. read more

thank you Pax.
I think we all feel this way at times...but you know what I have found to be true...the ones that feel this way...are usually the most handsome , smart, kindhearted people so strong they don't even realize when they use it ... I would love to see you make a mirror image to accompany this one.. ( :
