fooling himself

fooling himself

A Chapter by captain
"

This is a little fragment of feelings I had, once. Nothing more, nothing less. A simple piece came out from those times, those times of distress. Thank you for reading.

"

No amount of words can contained this feeling,

No amount of poetry can release this feeling.

I am fool who keeps fooling himself,

Keeps losing a piece of himself.

I have to quote one of my past piece:

..."A fool is only a fool if he succumbed to its nature"....

~ So i knew the feelings very well Captain. I somehow could relate to its very core, the distress of the moment. Sometimes simple words just speaks too much. It says more of the feelings than the story behind it. From time to time we became fools if we let ourself be one. MOre often I give in to that feeling, being the fool.... sigh... but as I manage to overcome it, moving on is just a step away. Then life goes on... like it always does. Very nice piece Captain. Hope your doing okay.

You said a lot in the four lines. Hard to understand when we look into the mirror and see a stranger looking back. Pieces of hope, dreams and places seem to fade away. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Too much truth here for comfort. "I am a fool who keeps fooling himself" - I can, unfortunately, relate. It's something we all do when everything else is just too painful. I will check out the link in your author's note. Great brevity here Captain :)

Thank you, Justine. This review makes me feel not so alone with this feeling.
A powerful feeling indeed but one we must work on. We have so many negative feelingsd in life and we must find a way to control or eliminate them. Google : "13 things strong minded people avoid."..Just like that. Written by Forbes. You will be inspired...A great write...:).............
