Manipura Poem

Manipura Poem

A Poem by Ty

I am that which I once waited for
Starry eyed and open palmed
Whispering to some inevitable onset
of a holographic miracle
to dissuade my shackles
As I lay bound to nothing
and blind to the only thing
that I am all things

My power is apparent in my being itself
I persist with strength, grace, and ease
Impediments, upon my stepping,
fold into themselves
Upon my touch,
as drowned bread would,
heavy and dilapidated,
taste my fingers and part

They live in the ruins I rose from
A bird of flame, ether-winged
Inextinguishable
Distinct
Vital
Humble and unafraid

One would not deny
what just is
And I just am
