Give Paradise

Give Paradise

A Poem by Carlee Cherokeeh
"

Love should never be taken away.

"
He said it is right when she said it is wrong.
They all build their laws on whatever would float their boats.
They think they are right in times you are not.
When all these taunting and judgements should not.

They say you are different when they are just like you.
They use their mouths to eat and feet to walk too.
What was originally made two should always stay as it is.
What if there were three, or four, or six?

Should she feel shame when she loves her?
Is that any different when he feels it for her?
These complex thinking make our race dumb.
Its is just as simple as 1+1.

Even an infant knows its existence.
Why make it difficult when there are just four letters?
These four letters could cause peace or our destruction.
It is what made us, let love live.

Let them be, they are who they are.
They know themselves, we do not.
Pushing one to something he does not want is a no.
It is as horrible as watching a fish frozen in snow.

Let him love whoever he wants.
Happiness is not deprived, it is given with a smile.
If in his arms he found his world, let him stay.
Paradise should not be taken away.
