Gratitude

Gratitude

A Poem by Carlos Salinas

Gratitude

Never long for what others have,
Because you’ll never enjoy what’s yours,
Remember how much you wanted
It when it was theirs;
Desires come and go,
But time only goes,
If you’ll get a second chance,
No one really knows;
Treasure what’s yours,
Before it’s gone,
Because what you long for
Might never come along.

About
I want my writing to inspire people to do good deeds, love one another, and never give up hope. I want my readers to finish each story or poem wanting more. There are already many negative forces and .. more..
