DOUBT

DOUBT

A Poem by Lost

Oh reconstructed image

Of the life I’m able to have

Please stay a little longer

I don’t want to go back

To the way I used to see

Used to be

Helpless me

Drowning seas

Of murky dread

These are the thoughts

Swimming in my head

Awake and distraught

Suspended and caught

In a web of tendrils

Reaching

And wrapping

Me tight

I am not alone

I am not alone

No matter how barren

The halls of this house

I am never alone

But I always have doubt

I always have doubt

I always have doubt

I am never alone

But I always have doubt
