Color of Memory

Color of Memory

A Poem by C. James Snyder
"

Memories are never consistent.

"

I placed your words

on a shelf

and they never collect dust

or anything else;

but filtered light

always gives new

meaning to their surfaces

like droplets

on a watercolor.

You went so deep! Those droplets magnifies the memories....it may feel imaginary but more than quite relatable.....thanks for sharing :)

How very true. There are times we need to push aside what we THINK something said meant until we have time to listen and look at the words with a clear head. Pretty imagery here. Lydi**

You are so right. I appreciate the kind words, Lydi!
because memory will always come in various colors to describe the emotions stored inside i like the metaphors and personification being done here
